Current Practice
Kristy assists clients on a wide array of commercial contracting needs, such as leases, non-disclosure agreements, manufacturing agreements, joint-marketing agreements, customer contracts, IP licensing and SaaS services. Kristy also assists with certain transactional matters such as bank and equity financing transactions. Kristy has extensive experience helping businesses navigate import/export issues and other international business challenges.
Prior Experience
Kristy started her legal career in 1997 at Goodwin Procter LLP in Boston in the firm’s corporate department working on an array of corporate transactions. Kristy joined The Timberland Company as in-house counsel in 2000. She held roles of increasing responsibility over nearly 24 years with the brand, including the past 12 years as General Counsel, before returning to private practice as Of Counsel to the Moulton Law Group in 2024.
Education & Credentials
Kristy graduated with a B.S. in Design and Environmental Analysis from Cornell University and graduated magna cum laude with a J.D. from Valparaiso University School of Law. Kristy has also been a member of the Trade Committee for the World Federation of Sporting Goods Industry, the Trade & Customs Committee of the Federation of European Sporting Goods Industry and the Trade Advisory Committee of the Outdoor Industry Association. Kristy is admitted to practice law in New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
Outside Interests
Kristy lives in Rye, New Hampshire with her husband and two sons. Kristy enjoys alpine skiing in Maine in the winter and spending time at the beach in New Hampshire in the summer. She’s also skilled at weaving Nantucket Lightship Baskets. Kristy has participated on the board of the Rye Education Foundation for many years. She has also served as a mentor with Camber Outdoors for several years.
